Discount on membership fee and sports punch card

 

Would you like to regularly participate in our activities, but are you struggling financially? In that case, Active Company Antwerp will refund you part of your membership fee and part of the purchase price of your own sports punch cards.

What does this reimbursement entail?

• • We shall grant this reimbursement to everyone who is entitled to preferential reimbursement of health care services by their health care fund.
  • The reimbursement has been set at 50 % of the purchase price of sports punch cards you buy for proper use.
  • New! Starting with the 2026 membership, you get also 50% of your membership fee reimbursed.

 

How do you apply for this reimbursement?

• • Upon payment of your membership fee, as a member, you can apply for this reimbursement by sending the “Attest van verhoogde tegemoetkoming geneeskundige zorgen” (certificate of preferential reimbursement of health care costs), which you received or can obtain from your health care fund, by email This email address is being protected from spambots. (by clicking one of these links). Our confidential counsellors will verify the validity of your certificate and inform you whether you are eligible for this reimbursement.
  • The reimbursement by Active Company Antwerp is valid for the duration of your health care fund certificate. This means usually that you will have to reapply every 3 years after you have paid your membership fee.

How do you obtain a refund?

Sports Punch Card

• • You need to pay yourself the sports punch card digitally via Payconiq or through a bank transfer/another player. In all cases you should mention your sports punch card’s number.

  • ACA's treasurer will repay half of the purchase price to your bank account.

Annual Membership Fee

• • Like all members, you pay the standard membership fee through our website.
  • You renew your membership fee, become a new member or become a member again between 1 December and 31 January: ACA's treasurer will refund half of your membership fee to your bank account in the first half of February.
  • You renew your membership fee, become a new member or become a member again after 31 January: ACA's treasurer will refund half of your membership fee to your bank account within a month after the payment.
  • You don't have to take any additional action yourself.
  • We will refund this amount to anyone who was granted this reimbursement by Active Company Antwerp at the time of payment of the membership fee or to anyone who requested this reimbursement together with the payment.

Confidentiality

• • You do not need to inform your activity's treasurer or coordinator (or any other ACA member) about this.
  • Of course, the confidential counsellors are aware of your application. They will only share this information with ACA's treasurer (to be able to refund you) and the members of the board of directors who are responsible for registering ACA members with Sporta and for submitting ACA’s application for support from the city of Antwerp. They will process this information confidentially.
