As suitable footwear has been strictly supervised by the attendants since the renovation of the sports hall, we urge you to only wear indoor shoes that do not leave any marks on the floor. Any fines charged to ACA will be recovered from the violators.
A very large number of badminton tournaments are organised within the European LGBTQ+ community. There, you'll find players of all levels. Those levels are A, B and C, each subdivided in + and - (ranging from beginners in C- to professionals in A+).
Tournaments are a wonderful opportunity to compete with players from other clubs and to meet people from all across the globe. After the athletic part, you can usually kick back and relax during a joint dinner and/or let loose at a party.
Do you want to go to a(n international) badminton tournament too? The ACA calendar lists all upcoming tournaments, including locations and links to additional information. You have to register yourself (individually or with a double partner). Do you not have a double partner? Ask around on Monday or Sunday. You are bound to find someone of your level who will join you.
Definitely inform our tournament coordinator if you are participating in a tournament. If it is a popular one, we can travel there with a large delegation and, e.g., create a group chat.
