From April 15, we play tennis outside (summer tennis). From September 15, the indoor winter season starts.

This can be done via the confirmation E-mail you received from Calendly or by E-mail.
If you cancel less than 24 hours in advance, let us know by phone, our Facebook group or Whatsapp group.
If you do not show up for the tennis activity during the winter season, you still have to pay.

Tournaments

We also regularly attend tournaments or organise a tournament ourselves, for example in collaboration with Brussels Gay Sport (BGS).
Since 2010, there is a club championship (see next tab)
There is a popular international circuit GLTA in which several ACA players participate. For more information, see below.

Tennis level and tennis equipment

A minimum of tennis experience is required

During the winter season, ACA provides tennis balls. During the summer season, you bring your own tennis balls. Tennis balls are for sale at the tennis club.
To play indoor (during winter or in case of rain) it is required to wear flat soled tennis shoes. If necessary, you can rent them at the tennis club.

We expect a minimum of tennis experience. If you have never played tennis before or if you want to take extra lessons, please contact a tennis school yourself. Ask the other tennis players for advice or tips.

Club championship

Since 2010, Active Company Antwerp has been organising a tennis club championship every summer.

There is a trophy for each level. Since 2020, we have been playing a club championship in round robins played throughout the summer and a final day at the end of August. There are 3 levels.

Level 1: Level Open, A, and B in GLTA
Level 2: Level C in GLTA
Level 3: Level D in GLTA
